Houston Pain Managament

I've recently had major lung surgery and am in severe pain. The surgeons sent me home with minimal amount of medication, while also telling me "you'll be in significant pain for a couple months most likely". I have 4 large incisions and 3 punctures, yet They have been extremely dismissive up to this point of prescribing my anything else for pain except extra strength Tylenol and Aleve.

Does anyone know of any Houston area PCPs or otherwise that will actually take their patient's pain seriously? I'm not looking for a pill mill or some shady doctor, though at this point I'd basically welcome any relief.

Anyway, I've just started my new career as a lawyer and I'd really like to not be in crippling pain for the first couple weeks. Does anyone know of a doctor that won't completely dismiss what I'm going through? Thanks.
