Don’t bother going to the bar, ‘Clarkwood’

Attempted to go tonight, was rejected by the doorman for ‘dress-code’ reasons. The dress-code on their website is listed as ‘business-casual’. Doorman said I needed to be wearing a “Bow tie” or something. I was wearing a navy button down shirt with some jeans.

I then proceeded to witness him let in several other men that were dressed the same as me, or even less. I saw him let guys in with sweaters or sportswear type stuff. When I brought it up to him all he said was, “I’m not trying to play this comparison game”. Wtf ???

So yeah, my advice is to not bother going, I had a reservation and everything. Might have discriminatory, might be he didn’t like the way I looked, or both.
