Going to be staying at Cypress for a while at a Recovery. What Should I Expect?

Early 20's year old female upgraded to a residential in Cypress. I'm generally fine with that however I was wondering what should I expect from Cypress. I heard there's not a lot to do there and I'm worried I'll get bored quickly. Usually the stuff I like to do are in the inner Loop area like Montrose and The Museum district or at the Memorial and Galleria area but I don't know if they have something similar.
