Weird volume swelling noise?

Hello all, I recently moved to Humble, around 1960 and Timber Forest area, there have been 2 nights where me and my wife woke up around 2 am or so to what sounds like a drone passing by or some kind of weird volume swelling noise. It’s hard to explain and I’ve never heard anything like it? Does anyone know what it is or has anyone else heard it?
