The full playoff scenario picture

I’m seeing that xtweet show up again that only tells half the story. The tweet says that there are 16 scenarios, but in reality there are 64 scenarios when considering the blue jays. With the jays winning yesterday, there are fewer weird scenarios.

Here’s the full story. Each of the Astros, jays, mariners, and rangers have the potential to be the team that misses out on the playoffs. For where we are right now, if the Astros win at least 2 games, we make the playoffs. If we win all 3 we have a chance at the division title. Even if we get swept, we still have a chance to be in the playoffs.
