planning to relocate

i am planning to relocate to Houston from the Chicago suburbs very soon – within the next week or two. i’m wanting a fresh start; to begin a new chapter of my life as the past few years have been very rough. I currently don’t have a job lined up, but i have a little bit of money to get me by for about a month or two, and I plan to job search immediately and I’m not so picky (background in administrative, dealership, government.) this decision may sound ignorant or impulsive, which i may have to agree, but the cost of living is so much cheaper there (it seems) than here, among other reasons. I’ve looked into AirBNB as well as the site Landing, and i found some affordable prices for a monthly term. Has anyone used Landing before? is it legit? Or are there other resources to find and secure housing in Houston? any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
