can you register your child to a HISD school zoned to your parent’s address instead of your own?

i know not exactly ethical but still worth asking: if my parent's zoned school is way better than my crappy one, is there anything that would get us caught having our child register to my parent's zoned school as if my child lived with them? how would HISD know whether the child live there or not? has anyone tried this?
