Meet Mike Miles, the man tasked with fixing Houston Independent School District

HISD Superintendent Mike Miles expects to see some immediate changes with academic outcomes and student growth in the New Education System schools and throughout the district by the end of the first year. Overall, he hopes to significantly narrow HISD’s achievement gap and prepare students to join the 2035 workforce.
