Occidental Petroleum subsidiary inks carbon capture deal with Amazon

As Occidental Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: OXY) gets the ball rolling on its long-awaited direct air capture facilities, it has a new customer for its carbon dioxide removal credits: Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN).
