Houston leaders clear a path to diversity and inclusion

The coronavirus pandemic already weighed heavily on the minds of employers in May 2020. Then, the death of George Floyd, a Black man, while in the custody of four Minneapolis police officers touched off racial justice protests all over the world.

While you’d think that the racial justice movement would be the primary driver, the pandemic has also helped propel a re-evaluation at businesses in Houston and elsewhere of their approaches to workplace diversity and inclusion.
