$200 “adjustment” added to electricity bill for a 1b1b?

I use varsity energy as my provider and opened their portal to pay my bill for August.

I was not home for the entirety of July and August so I was expecting low bills for these months (thermostat was set at 79 and only the fridge was left running).

The electricity usage was shown as really low but for some reason they’ve added a $200.72 charge marked as “Adjustment” to my bill?

This isn’t the initial deposit either as I paid that in June and have the receipt as proof.

Does this make sense to anyone? I’m new to Houston so any help is really appreciated!
