Looking for short-term furnished housing near the Texas Medical Center. Any ideas or resources?

Hi everyone, I have a friend from out of state whose father will be undergoing cancer treatment in the Texas Medical Center for the next several months, and she is struggling to find a short-term furnished rental for her parents to live in during that time. I've suggested she check out HAR.com, but it looks like most of the rentals on that site are unfurnished. I unfortunately don't have much knowledge about how to find furnished apartments in the area and figured it would be a good idea to reach out here since some of you probably know a lot more than I do.

Can anyone recommend websites or other resources I can pass on to my friend to help her find what she's looking for? She said she is looking for something other than Airbnb and that her parents are hoping for a place (preferably a house) that is furnished, no more than 30 minutes from TMC, and less than $2,700 per month.
