Floors for Living (Hardwood Floors) Question

Hi Houston friends — has anyone worked with Floors for Living to redo their floors?

They said they charge everything 100% upfront, which seems very unusual to me. Typical is 50% for materials and 50% when the job is done. They said this is company policy. Can someone confirm?

(I am paying about $26,000 a whole house engineered wood flooring redo (with removal of existing hardwood, tile, carpet) — about $2,500 sq ft two stories.)
