Petland still illegally selling puppies in Houston

I think it's clear that Petland corporate does not care about brand reputation. The owner of their Bellaire location (technically in Houston city limits) had an arrest warrant issued because he wouldn't show up for courts to address the citations he has received from BARC for violating the cities anti puppy mill sales ordinance. Yet they are STILL selling puppies. My friend just walked in and saw for herself.

I'm glad BARC is at least staying on top of things. They are issuing regular citations. But I feel for all the families who don't know what they are getting into when they buy a puppy at Petland. It's overpriced puppies ($5,000, $6,000, even higher), sold with financing (often triple digit interest rates), the puppies often sick, almost always from a puppy mill. What a trainwreck.
