(Kingwood) I’m getting sick of these power outages.

3 minutes into the "storm" and the power goes out. Not an uncommon occurrence, we lose power for a few minutes several times every month. 5 hours later, still nothing. I'm checking the Centerpoint outage tracker every 20 minutes or so, and it seems like they're just adding 10 minutes to the estimated fix time, every ten minutes. I know it's probably a blown transformer, I heard the loud pop a mile or two away, but 5 hours is too fucking long to replace a transformer. If the outage tracker is anything to go by, they're making…zero progress?

I'm getting sick of this s**t. Little bit of rain? Power outage. A strong gust of wind? Power outage. Freezing temps? Power outage. Too hot? Power outage. Perfectly beautiful spring day? F**k it, let's have a power outage.
