Want to request police presence for sign-runners in neighborhood.

Just what it says. Our neighborhood is one main street that has cul-de-sacs on either side. There are two stop signs that also serve as school bus stops, that everyone runs at full speed all the time.

HOA is proposing having the city install speed humps along the main drag, but this isn’t going to keep anyone from running the signs.

I’ve driven through neighborhoods recently where cops were posted at stop signs and ticketing those who run them. I want this in my neighborhood but not sure if I can request this myself or if I need the HOA to do it.

HOA won’t do it. Unfortunately, most of the board members are the very people who blast through the signs.

I think having the cops there popping assholes for a few days would solve the problem without having to jack up the streets themselves and will target the ones actually doing the crime.

Anyone know how to get this done without going through the HOA?
