How often does your Metro bus zoom past you?

New driver here and not sure if it's my location but it seems because of our tight schedules, a lot of drivers zoom by any person that isn't looking at their direction.

Curious how often that is. I never understood that. What if someone's distracted, etc.

I've seen this happened a few times.

Personally I still slow down and even stop near them to see if they're a passenger that wants this bus. I'd rather not risk skipping a passenger.
