Parking for Games

I will be going to my first ever game at Minute Maid Park on Tuesday! I am from Detroit and there is ample free street parking within a half-mile from the stadium there. I know in many other cities it is not like this. I was wondering if there is cheap/free parking near Minute Maid Park, or what you guys like to do!
