Advice on going to the preseason game today?

I'm in town for work this weekend, and while I'm not particularly a fan of the Texans or Dolphins, I plan on going to the game today for something to do.

I don't want to spend the $100+ on really good seats for a preseason game between teams I don't root for, but I don't want to get the $5 nosebleeds either… unless there's a bar area with a view of the field I can hang out at?

So what's the move for someone who is a big NFL fan, but pretty neutral on both teams? I don't mind spending around $50 or so, and want to check out the stadium in general.

Parking is not an issue, I'm at one of the hotels next to NRG.
