Cars parked at buffalo bayou park

So I’ve always been curious why I see a lot of vehicles parked at the park along allen parkway at late hours like 11pm or even later, people aren’t obviously walking or running in the park at this time, so my question is are people having car sex in that parking area? Is that like the popular spot to do it?
