Noble Energy begins to reverse well shut-ins after big second-quarter losses

Part of Noble Energy’s reaction to this spring’s collapsed oil market was to turn off some onshore U.S. wells that couldn’t operate profitably in April and May, when crude oil prices plunged to historic lows. Now it’s bringing wells back online.
