At Memorial Park this AM

I run a lot at MP and with this heat have been getting to the park between 3:30 – 4:00 AM. Obviously very empty then so I am always able to park at the last place closest to the shower by the pavilion.

Everyone who runs before sunup knows that the lights on that portion of the park have been out for more than a week so it was extremely dark this morning.

Went to the fountain to make sure my water was completely full and heard but could not clearly see in the dark that someone was in the shower. Peered a bit closer and saw that it was a homeless man (which I have an appreciation for using that shower) except he was naked. Walked back to my car and saw him a few minutes later walk across the road – clothed – heading I assume toward the wooded area by the large apartment complex on Westcott/Washington.
