Clothes/Books/Furniture to Donate

I have some clothes, books, and furniture I would like to donate to a good cause (and that will actually use them and not toss them). The clothes are nice women's brands. Anyone know of a a good women's shelter to donate to? Or any other donation group. I live in north Houston. Thank you!
