Retina Specialist Input

I’m aware this is a very specific question/concern, but figured I’d ask Houston peeps since we practically live in medical central USA:

My mom has been seeing a retina specialist in Louisiana for an occlusion between her retina and cornea. She has received four antibody injections, and although her vision has gotten a little better, it’s not where she wants it to be.

1. Has anybody else experienced this type of vision loss? If so, did you ever get your full vision back and how long did it take?

2. Although I’m sure her doctor is top notch, I want her to get a second opinion. Any recommendations on who she should see in the Houston area?

Thank you in advance. This entire situation has really caused my mom to become depressed and somewhat helpless. My hope is she can get some more relief soon, either through her current doctor or another one. Enjoy your evening!
