Funny remark from old broadcast

I’m watching an old broadcast from ‘09 (for nostalgic reasons) and Bill Brown just said “There’s no ties in baseball, no crying in baseball, and no clock in baseball” when Michael Bourn almost beat out an infield single that looked like a tie. Ironically, there is a clock in baseball now! I wonder how Bill feels hahaha
