Houston weather?

I’m flying into Houston this Sunday and it shows lightening on the iPhone weather app. I did basic research but it’s showing conflicting info so I thought I’d just ask the people of houston!

It shows a chance of lightening (around noon) every single day. Is this accurate?? What’s the weather been like this week throughout the day?

Funky weather and turbulence gets me kinda nervous so just curious. But also, I need to know how to pack 😅.
