Good freshwater fishing spots?

Hey y’all,

I’ve been looking for some good freshwater fishing spots lately, but I haven’t had a lot of luck. I tried Bane Park, didn’t catch anything (although I looked online and it said it hadn’t been stocked in over a year). I tried Arthur Storey Park and caught one bass, as well as Tom Bass Park and didn’t catch anything. It seems like everywhere I’m going is inactive, as neither my friends nor I have been getting many catches. Any suggestions on well-stocked ponds somewhat close to the West Houston area? Also I’m looking for freshwater only because while I enjoy heading down to Texas City Dike to fish every once in a while, it’s too far of a drive for me to make regularly. Thanks for the help!
