Need recommendations for an indoor track in SW Houston for friend recovering from surgery?

My friend (Pecan Grove area) doesn't have Reddit so I am asking on her behalf. I live in Oregon and am not familiar with the Houston area. She is recovering from a brain surgery and is learning to walk again, however because of the intense heat she hasn't been able to practice at the outdoor track in her area.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an indoor track or a place that allows for walking long distances? I don't think a mall could work because it's too crowded and she may have trouble concentrating, using her walker/wheelchair, etc. Thank you so much in advance!!
