Why would anyone willing live here?

I'm young and lived in Houston my entire life, if I was not born into this city, I would never live here.

Here is a list of why Houston is such a disaster of a city.

• No zoning laws.
• Everyone is either overweight or obese and no one seems to care.
• Car dependency, with horrible street infrastructure, traffic and drivers.
• Government is trying to take over HISD and control the education and what children read.
• Terrible place to raise kids, people are getting cops called on for letting children play in front yard.
• Crime (please don't say the common phrase "THerE'S cRIme IN evERY CiTY")
• Weather
• It's ugly

I know there some good to Houston, like the food, diversity, and friendly people.
