Where’s the Jazz Scene?

I'm looking for bars, clubs, w/e where they play either big band or small group jazz combos. NOT looking for smooth jazz nor pop/r&b. There doesn't seem to be much of a scene here and the one place that I found that looked promising seems to have closed down. Any recommendations?
