Thunderstorms are so crazy in Texas (and specifically Houston). What’s the worst thing you’ve experienced in a storm?

Despite living in Texas my whole life, I can’t get over the lightning in the area I live (just north of Houston).

I honestly feel like I need an actual, practiced safety plan in case my house gets struck by lightning. It’s happened twice in my neighborhood in the past few years!
