Houston First CEO to retire amid challenging year
The head of Houston First Corp., the organization responsible for promoting Houston’s hospitality businesses, will retire next month.
The Houston Chronicle reports that President and CEO Brenda Bazan’s last day will be Aug. 14.
“As wonderful as this journey has been, it is now time for me to take care of me,” Bazan said in a memo to staff members that announced her retirement “with mixed feelings,” per the Chronicle.
