I feel like there’s an “everybody calm down” post every week.

But for real, everybody needs to calm the f**k down. On the postgame thread I’m seeing every other comment saying “fire Dusty” when 9 months ago, every post on this subreddit was “Do it for Dusty”. Facts are that our guys have played a month more of baseball for 6 straight years and one of the big reasons why is depth and resting players/running 6-man rotations (when possible) That being said, throwing out a Oakland As (Triple-A team), like on Sunday, is ridiculous.

Second, I’ve noticed people comparing what the Rangers are “doing” by playing their starters everyday as what Dusty and the Astros should be doing. The Rangers are having to start their best players for every single game are still only 3.5 games ahead of the Astros who have battled more significant injuries this year than probably any other year prior, in this run.

Long story short, stop acting like you have the miraculous answer to the Astros problems. We’re 1/3 of the way through the season and have the 6th best record in the MLB.
