Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner proposes $6.2B budget for fiscal year 2024
Mayor Sylvester Turner’s proposed budget, some of which uses federal funds, includes raises for city employee and funding for more police and fire cadet classes, as well as continuing initiatives such as One Safe Houston and One Clean Houston.
