Visiting Houston 4th of July week for a game. Need advice!

Title kinda says it all. Visiting family in Texas this summer, figured we might as well make the trip to Houston for a game so I can cross off another stadium. It will be me, my wife, and our 2 toddlers (4 & 2). Best places to park, eat, and any suggestions on hotels nearby? It will be a fairly quick trip. Get in to see the game, stay the night, then leave the next morning. Bonus points for pointing out any breweries nearby as well!
