Who’s hiring skilled trades at the entry level right now?

Hey y'all,

I live in the Spring area, and I'm looking to start a career in electrical, HVAC or another skilled trade. I've called just about every electrician and HVAC contractor in my area, and every single one of them has told me they're looking for people with 5+ years of experience. I have some light residential construction experience, but I can't break into a particular trade if nobody is willing to take on a helper or apprentice.

Anybody here have any leads? I just want to bust ass, learn a trade and make enough money to pay my bills.
