Driving and smoking weed

I’ll start by saying, yes I smoke weed. It’s definitely safer in the long run than drinking liquor. I enjoy it at home, or when I’m out at the beach or a party, whatever it’s fun. That being said, why do so many people blaze and drive? It’s not only irresponsible, it’s gonna get you a DUI. People smoke that skunky stuff too, I can smell it across the Walmart parking lot. Maybe they need to get a vape or something, it’s definitely not going unnoticed
