Looking for Rolan from Houston

I was 19 and working a retail job. It was a slow day and there weren’t many customers around. There were only two registers open and I was the cashier for one of them. Then this guy entered the store, quickly went to pick up a couple of items and came to check out at the register beside me. While he was waiting in line, he looked my way and I smiled at him. I will never forget how he looked at me. He came over to check out at my register immediately. I greeted him while checking out his items, then gave him his total. He handed me some cash, I gave him his change and he thanked me and left or so I thought. He was my last customer and I went to the back office to count and turn in my money when a coworker came in looking for me. She said that a customer had returned looking for me and wanted to give me a note. That note was written on the back of the receipt I gave him moments before and it said that I was very beautiful and have a really nice smile that he couldn’t just leave without at least giving me his number. It made such an impression on me that I still have that note till this day! I made sure to put it in a clear plastic sleeve to protect it and I have never opened it since. Sadly I never called him because I had a boyfriend at the time, but I always do wonder what if I had? I will never forget him and his kind words. I wish I could find him and tell him that he changed my life…
