people who work at counter service restaurants…?

I'm really getting tired of tipping at counter service restaurants especially ones that then have "funny" sign up that say something like "this ain't ya moms house clean up after yourself"

So recently I've decided to take a stand and just not tip at these places. It's really difficult to do for me because I've always tipped at least 20%. And i feel judged by the person behind the counter. But it's just gotten too out of hand.

Anyway my question is, does the person behind the counter know that i haven't tipped?
