Whatever happened to Ron Stone Jr?

I see all these sons of Houston news legends on the local news seen, and that for me wondering. I was away at college when Ron Stone retired from channel 2, but I seem to recall his son also worked there for a while. Does anyone know what happened to him? A Google search only brings up stuff about his father, and he doesn't appear to be on LinkedIn. I don't remember exactly when he was on channel 2, but I'm guessing 90s, maybe early 00s.
