Off Day Check In!

First off day of the season. Wanted to check in with everyone and see how we’re feeling sitting at 3-4 heading into this 6-game road trip. Obviously it’s only been 7 games but want to try to do this most off days and get a general feel.

Couple things I’ve noticed or liked so far:

-That middle of the lineup trio of Yordan (who needs Spring Training?), Abreu, and Tucker is going to be a scary sight for pitchers this season.

-Peña’s had a slow start so far but has been making good contact and it finally paid off in yesterday’s game.

-Bregman off to another slow start to the season. Feel like he has also been making good contact, just nothing is falling for him.

-Maldy’s ability to throw runners out is still elite.

-Stop playing Jake and keep Chas in please.

-Framber and Javier look good through their 2 starts each. Hopefully the rotation continues to go deeper into games. There was a lot of bullpen usage in these 7 games.

-Can Dana Brown land us another starter?

Again, I know it has only been 7 games, but it’s always fun to cuss and discuss. Go ‘Stros!
