What work do you do to live in a house like that?

I like homes and sometimes the wife and I drive around and look at new neighborhoods. After seeing neighborhoods like Town Lake, Bridgeland, etc. we have come to the conclusion we may be in the ring line of work.

I can’t knock on doors but what allows people to live in homes > $600 k ?
