Anyone else seeing what looks like sleet falling with the rain?

I’m walking to the car and all of a sudden I hear what sounds like ice pellets hitting off the top of my carport but it’s 48 so I think maybe it’s some of the buds on my oak trees falling off. I look at the car and there’s sleet pellets bouncing off the hood but melting as soon as they make contact with the ground. What in the actual f**k????
