Racoon living in my tree. Is he cool? Or do I call someone?

So I'm working on my yard and out of the corner of my eye I saw what I thought was a cat climbing up my large Texas Live Oak.

I thought what the f**k that dude's moving slow for a cat. And he's big.

Then he peered around the tree to say whatsup and it's a motherfucking racoon. Like 3 times the size of a cat.

I thought I scared him, and he ran up there to hide – but as I'm looking up little dude has built a massive tree top mansion on the limbs. I see him chilling up there all laid out.

Now I'm a Houston transplant. Where I'm from, we don't have racoons – I have no idea if this dude is a cool dude to have around my house or not?

I'm obviously not bothering him, and I'm not going to go near him but do you call anyone about racoons to relocate them? Do you just ignore them? Are they beneficial to have around?

I already have a super cool possum called Dave that lives in my back yard, I know hes a cool bro because he eats snakes and insects and stuff.

But Steve the racoon? I have no idea if he's a cool dude. I really need some advice.

Thanks.
