Any recommendations on a place on the coast to spread ashes?

I'm ready to let go of my pup's ashes and would like to do it somewhere on the coast. Obviously Galveston boardwalk is probably not the right place as I assume people don't want dead dog ash blowing on them. Any recommendations on a nice, relatively unbusy area I could do this?
