Need spring break travel tips

I (22F) and my girl friends (all 20s) want to go to Texas for spring break. Ideally we want to be able to meet people around our age. We are torn between HTX and ATX. We really want to get a lake house air bnb. So far I have heard of Lake Travis and Lake Conroe. We are into outdoorsy stuff like hiking and boat rentals but would like to go out clubbing a couple times too. Could someone who is in the area give us some advice on which city we’d enjoy more?
