I’m looking for some specific tips for the rodeo. Can someone give me some advice?

What time should I get there? I mainly am interested in the rodeo events but also want to walk the fairgrounds and get some food there. Also are the standing seats a decent option? Right now the tickets for standing are about $55 and the actual seats are $79 (I need multiple seats next to each other). Any other advice would be appreciated.
