Ah yes, it finally happened.. my car was rear ended at a red light by an uninsured (and possibly unlicensed) driver…

My car only has a slightly damaged rear bumper.. at least from the outside. The parking sensors still work so I’m hoping that’s a sign of not too much damage.

The other driver and passenger bailed before the cops showed up which took about two hours.

I got a police report and now I’m hoping it’s enough proof that I’m not at fault. Only other thing I have is a picture of the lovely paper plate. I didn’t take a picture of the other car’s damage…

The people involved tried to settle this on the side (of course) but I think everyone would’ve advised me to not do that.

It is what it is. Careful out there folks. Lots of paper plates driving round, unfortunately..

I was hoping it would at least be an Altima. You know, to get the full “paper plate experience”.
