HISD nixes year-round proposal, prepares for 2020-21 amid Covid-19

The Houston Independent School District will no longer consider moving forward with the 11-month academic calendar proposed for the 2020-2021 school year.

The decision was due to the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 and the recent increase in cases.
