Affordable Family Portraits

My husband and I are looking to have some high quality in-studio portraits done in the next few months. I know “affordable” is a loose term so to clarify a bit, we used Metcalf in the past and loved the results but a medium framed portrait cost $1500+ (if not more) and (if I remember correctly) digital copies were only included after purchasing $2000 – $3000 worth of product. We had a gift card which brought the price down a bit but it was still out of our price range. Most studios won’t give the price ranges online and I don’t want to have to call every one and go through each respective sales pitch just to find out.

If anyone has had luck in the past in terms of a good experience, product, and pricing your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
